Wishart Estate Agents are a mother and daughter team based in York. They approached us late 2015 requesting that we designed them a new website.
Wishart Estate Agents was one of our first sites of to use subtle animations one the home page, giving the site some life. Although these are only minor, they are for more attention grabbing than a static website, drawing a user’s eyes to where they are supposed to be.
As Wishart only deals with sales, we decided to break the entire site down into two very clear calls to action: “Buying” or “Selling”. This makes it very clear for the vast majority of users and directs them accordingly. We decided to leave the navigation bar off the home page as this again focuses users to two calls-to-action we want them to engage with.
Further down on the home page if a user wants to know more, the additional pages are navigated to via large images and page titles, providing clear information to the user.
