If, like us, you consider social proof important in your business, and you’ve noticed that people have told you that they’ve posted a review but for whatever reason, you're not seeing it appear on your Google Business Profile, we’ve recently learned why this is.
Google have announced that due to Covid-19, they have suspended parts of their service and that affects the reviews element too. They’ve said:
“New reviews, new review replies, new short names, all videos, and all Q&A are unavailable during this time. Thank you for your patience. We are working as quickly as possible to restore full functionality to Google My Business. We will provide further updates as they become available.”

From our point-of-view though, any review submitted is stored in their database and will eventually make its way live so we’re just going to crack on as normal!
